Christmas Memories

Sometimes I like to share my own personal photos.
This year, my son didn't want to do his 3 year old photos.  We tried during Christmas, so maybe it was my own fault, though we did start before guests even started arriving.  I was infinitely happy I brought my camera to Christmas this year though, because I captured all of these beautiful memories.

Please enjoy :)

Family Moments

Don't forget your families this time of year!
Sometimes the best gifts are things you wouldn't normally think about gifting.  Like photos.  This family has never had a family photo taken.  So this year, the daughter decided she'd like to get a full family photo for her grandparents (the first in a little over 5 years) and we added on a generational and the following mini session with her parents, a first ever.
It was a pleasure photographing your family Katrina...thank you!

Katrina & Mike - Engaged!

It was very, very chilly Saturday that we ventured out to the arboretum in Madison for engagement photos. The clouds were rolling in and we were crossing our fingers the snow would hold off just a little bit longer.
Katrina and Mike were so sweet as they snuggled close and teased each other with their cold hands and noses on one another's faces.  They were troopers, truly and we had a great time.
Congratulations guys!  And thank you for a great session.

Gift Cards....who knew?

Who knew you'd all love gift cards so much?
I had this brilliant idea not so long ago after customizing my 4th gift certificate of the year....how about some gift cards!  It was such a hit!  And to all of you that have recently purchased one, thank you so much.  And for those of you who didn't know....now you do!  So let me know if you'd like to purchase one.  So far I have heard amazing things about these and how grateful people are to receive one as their gift.
'Family photos next year and we don't have to buy?!'
'They'll be great for _____'s ___ year photos!'
Etc, etc.  They're the same size as a business card, so they fit great in those little tins you can buy just about everywhere.  And the best part?  Right now....when you buy a gift card....you'll get a $10 print credit for yourself!
